Global Banking & Finance Review has recognised Crèdit Andorrà as the best Andorran private bank for the sixth consecutive year, together with the award for best Andorran bank in CSR 2018, for its fourth year, regarding its social responsibility policy.

The magazine's assessment appreciates the Group's Wealth Management model, based on client confidence, and the value it offers, linked to a boutique form of private banking and asset management.

This award is for the bank's commitment to the country and to society through the Crèdit Andorrà Foundation, strengthened by joining the United Nations Global Compact and adopting the United Nations 2030 Agenda so as to contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

The Banker Top 1000 world banks 2017
The only bank in Andorra included in the Financial Times Top 1000

Crèdit Andorrà is the only bank in Andorra classified in the annual Top 1000 ranking by the Financial Times group. The bank has very high financial strength, with equity of 654 million euro at the end of 2016 – of which 552 million is Tier 1 Capital –.

The Group, which closed 2016 with profits of 65 million euro, achieved a solvency ratio of 21.72% (more than double the required legal minimum of 10%) and a liquidity ratio of 59.03% (the legal minimum is 40%).

Fitch Ratings has assigned Crèdit Andorrà with a long-term rating of “BBB” with a stable outlook

The credit rating agency Fitch Ratings has assigned Crèdit Andorrà with a long-term rating of “BBB” with a stable outlook, and a short-term rating of “F3”. The rating reflects the stabilization of credit factors and the bank’s ability to cope with the financial situation of the country.

Fitch has positively assessed Crèdit Andorrà’s high earnings generation capacity, its adequate capitalization level and its balanced process of international expansion of private banking business and asset management.

Crèdit Andorrà Asset Management, the Group’s management company, has GIPS certification, a standard introduced to ensure that ethical and transparent processes are followed when calculating and disclosing returns on investments to clients. This standard also ensures that the data published are fair in relation to other investment fund management companies on an international level. Crèdit Andorrà Asset Management sits on the board of directors of the Spanish association responsible for promoting GIPS.
